This weekend, for the 47th time this weekend Nairobi, Kenya will see the CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance, a special event for all those who love classic and vintage cars in East Africa. The centrepiece is the judging of classic and vintage cars and motorcycles under regulations approved by the Kenya Motor Sport Federation.
An important part of this event is the Classic Car and Motorcycle Sale. This is the place where classic cars, dating from 1992 or older, can be sold. Instead of cars rusting away in your backyard, bring them to Nairobi and sell them to someone that will again love it, ride it and restore it.
The Concours d’Elegance is to be held on sunday, September 24. It is organised by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club of Kenya and is open to all makes of cars and motorcycles. The event attracts more than 10,000 visitors each year. For the sixth time in a row, the Concours d’Elegance is sponsored by the Commercial Bank of Africa, which is headquartered in Nairobi.
