Despite the floodings in southeast Texas, the Mecum Dallas 2017 auction will still be held on September 6 – 9 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The auction house announces this on their website. “Our hearts go out to all of those recently impacted by the disastrous flooding experienced in and around East and Central Texas”, Mecum says on it’s website. The city of Dallas has not been hit by Hurricane Harvey like Houston has.
The Mecum Dallas auction is a big one: in 4 days around 1.000 vehicles will be on put on the stand. Among them are muscle cars, classic cars, motorcycles, restomods and custom cars. Part of the sale are several collections of well-known collectors. It is the seventh year that Mecum stages the Dallas auction, last year the auction result reached USD 38 million.
